Zandrina Dunning is a powerhouse vocalist, producer, and cultural advocate with a career spanning over 20 years. Based in Charleston, SC, she is the Executive Artistic Director of The ZD Experience, a dynamic platform blending soulful performances with impactful conversations. Originally founded as a band in 2013 and expanded into a production company in 2018, The ZD Experience is now a quarterly live talk show. The upcoming May 22nd event will feature Dr. Paula Orr discussing menopause.
Zandrina holds a B.A. in Music Industry/Vocal Music from South Carolina State University. She’s produced acclaimed tribute shows to icons like Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner and co-created the P.U.R.E. Concert Series during the pandemic to promote Peace, Unity, and Revival through Entertainment.
A TEDx Charleston performer-turned-Chair of Performers, she will co-host the 2024 event with longtime creative partner Stephen Washington. Her work has earned her the What Women Bring Award (2023) and the Lowcountry Legend Award (2024). Zandrina is also a proud mother to her daughter London, a talented young artist at Charleston County School of the Arts. Balancing motherhood with her mission to uplift and inspire through music, media, and meaningful dialogue, Zandrina sets the stage for meaningful conversations and unforgettable performances.
