Patsy Hollman Gardner

Patsy Hollman Gardner is a dedicated and accomplished leader with a profound commitment to community outreach, education, training, social justice, restorative justice, youth development, and serving justice-involved individuals and their families. As the Founder and Executive Director of A Second Chance Resource Center Network United, Inc., Patsy has demonstrated exceptional leadership and passion for making a positive impact.

Patsy Gardner lives by the principle, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world,” attributed to Mahatma Gandhi, reflecting her deep commitment to creating positive change in the community.

Patsy developed the Holistic Experience Model, a trademark that focuses on serving the “Whole Person” and the “Whole Family.” This model emphasizes a balance between discipline and love, providing a comprehensive approach to supporting justice-involved individuals.

Patsy is married to Archie Gardner, and together, they have two children, Kayla and Archie Adam Gardner II, underscoring the importance of family in her life.
With over thirty years of experience in administration, social work, human services, community and economic development, and non-profit management, Patsy brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her areas of specialization include social services, mental health, alcohol and drug abuse, reentry case management, program training, and outreach implementation.

Patsy holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She is a Certified Associate Addiction Professional (CAAP), Certified Family Life Coach and a SC Notary Public, showcasing her commitment to professional development.

Patsy is actively involved in various community organizations, serving as the Chairperson for the Tri-County Reentry Council, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Tri-County Exchange Club of SC, the Mentor Exchange Club of Charleston, the Charleston Criminal Justice Council, Northwood Assembly Church, and The Worldwide Women’s Association.
Patsy received the News 4 Jefferson Award in January 2024, highlighting her significant contributions to the community.

Over the last five years, Patsy has played a pivotal role in expanding A Second Chance Resource Center, culminating in the Grand Opening of the Phoenix Transitional House, a facility dedicated to supporting justice-involved individuals in their transition from incarceration.

Patsy’s multifaceted expertise, compassionate leadership, and tireless dedication to community service make her a valuable asset to A Second Chance Resource Center Network United, Inc., and a commendable figure in the pursuit of social justice and community betterment.
