Your Hour, Her Power

Our annual Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day campaign, Your Hour, Her Power®, is inspired by the belief that when a woman has access to opportunities that can change her life, she becomes powerful beyond measure.

Take the Pledge

By giving the equivalent of just one hour of your pay, you give a Dress for Success woman access to programs, services, and tools that will help her achieve economic advancement.

About Us

Dress for Success Charleston County empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, a network of support and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. The organization was incorporated in 2003, as the first Dress For Success affiliate in the State of South Carolina.

The professional clothing, employment retention programs and ongoing support that we provide our clients symbolize our faith in every woman’s ability to be self-sufficient and successful in her career.

Once a client completes an employability program, she is referred to Dress for Success Charleston by one of our referral agencies to obtain professional attire.

Clothing Drives

Most of the apparel we provide to our clients comes to us from other women in the community. Donation Drives usually provide a creative and collaborative team-building exercise.
